We spent two weeks in January with our friends John and Lana in Cooktown. Mallee had a fabulous time swimming in the many beautiful creeks. He's even getting used to putting his head under water.
Mallee at Burrawang, chook tractor in background. Mallee had an amazing time down at the land. There was so much fun for a small boy - new arms and laps to play in, two puppies, lots of chickens, Cubby's duplo and this swing! He loved it; you couldn't wipe the grin off his face. The gummy grin you see here is a particular favourite at the moment.
Mallee was having an excellent time discovering how much water can be displaced by a small fist while giving Daddy a much needed shower.
Mallee looking gorgeous in the precious handmade woolens we have on loan (thanks Clare!). Dad looking proud as punch (and a bit gorgeous too!).
Mallee has been having fun with porridge. This was his first attempt.
Mallee sucking his favourite two fingers. We ended up wearing a bit more porridge than he managed to get into his mouth. The fingers would come out when the spoon approached and were then shoved back in with much squelching of oaty goodness.
